Therapy is a professional relationship, and boundaries must be respected at all times.
Communication outside of sessions should relate only to scheduling, queries, or essential updates.
10. Suitability & Limitations of Therapy
Counselling may not be suitable in all circumstances. If I believe you require specialist or alternative support (e.g., crisis services, psychiatric care), I will discuss this with you and signpost you to appropriate services.

Crisis or emergency mental health services
24/7 support
Medical or legal advice
In an emergency, contact 999, your GP, or your local crisis team.
11. Hypnotherapy Terms
Clients engaging in hypnotherapy understand that:
Results vary between individuals
Hypnotherapy is a complementary therapy, not a replacement for medical treatment
Sessions are most effective when the client is open, engaged, and comfortable
Hypnotherapy cannot force a person to act against their will
You must inform the therapist of any relevant medical or psychological conditions.
12. Ending Therapy
You may end therapy at any time.
It is helpful to discuss this during a session so that we may conclude safely and reflectively.
Hark Therapy reserves the right to end therapy if:
Boundaries are not respected
Therapy is no longer appropriate
Fees are unpaid
The therapeutic relationship is no longer effective
13. Complaints
If you have concerns or wish to make a complaint:
Please speak to me in the first instance so we can resolve the issue.
If unresolved, you may contact my professional body:
